The year 2026 marks the 105th birthday of the prominent Russian mathematician and academician Nikolai Nikolaevich Yanenko (1921-1984), whose life work was devoted to the development of both, analytical and numerical methods to the solution of differential equations.
The School of Mathematics and Geoinformatics, Suranaree University of Technology, has thus decided to organize an international conference ‘Analytical and Numerical Methods in Differential Equations (Yanenko 105)’ dedicated to Academician Yanenko’s s memory. The conference will be organized jointly with Stellenbosch University in South Africa and the Khristianovich Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk, with the School of Mathematics as the lead organizer.
