Implementations of the LAPACK and BLAS Libraries
The list below shows the implementations of the BLAS routines and the LAPACK library available.
- The SUN University Workshop (available on math and hilbert)
implements version 1.2 of LAPACK. You need to compile with f77, and use the flag
-xlic_lib=sunperf. For further information, please consult the
- The generic implementation
was generated with the g77 compiler and is the default library on all systems.
It is compatible with the g77 compiler.
To make use of it, simply use the flags -llapack -lblas at the end
of the command line.
Unfortunately, there is no good documentation vailable.
The manual pages of the individual subroutines
can be found by typing: man subroutinename (in lower case).
- The Portland Group Compiler (pgf77) also comes with its implementation of the LAPACK library.
There is no documentation available. To use this library with pgf77, add the flags -L/opt/pgi/solaris86/lib -llapack -lblas
to the end of the command line.
